This is an album by Nathan Ben-Yehuda, a young pianist born in Southern California, who studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and then at the Juilliard School of Music. The LP, which was recorded at the same time as the CD (YR-54481), features Haydn and Sculthorpe's works, as well as a band with which Nathan is associated, to showcase his activities beyond the classical music stage, In addition to Haydn and Sculthorpe, the LP also includes two songs from his band, Astral Mixtape, to showcase Nathan's work beyond the classical stage. The band can be called an evolution of the piano quartet, using all kinds of sounds and music from Renaissance music to Romanticism, rock and post-rock, and even nature sounds as material.
