Description:
This is the sixth complete Dvorak symphony cycle by the Deutsche Rundfunk Philharmonie. Inkinen has taken over from Cichon, who conducted the first three albums, and has given excellent performances since the fourth volume. The two most popular symphonies by Dvořák, No. 8 and No. 7, were written in 1884-85, and the third movement of No. 7 has a strong Slavic element, including the rhythm of the Czech folk dance "Friant". Inkinen, who has been the principal conductor of the Deutsche Rundfunk Philharmonie since 2017, carefully reads the score and highlights even the smallest counter-melody to make the orchestra sound clear. He draws out a clear sound from the orchestra by carefully reading the score and highlighting even the smallest counter-melody, and the entire work is performed at a brisk tempo. Naxos Japan
