Rachel Podger, one of the most renowned baroque violinists of our time, has been delighting music lovers all over the world with her exciting activities in both performance and recording. Goltberg Variations" in a newly arranged version. The arrangement, called "Reimagined," by Chad Kelly, a British keyboardist and conductor currently active mainly in Australia, is based on the basic concept of "What if Bach had arranged this work? The basic concept of the arrangement was "What if Bach had arranged this work? For example, the opening aria begins in the style of a slow movement with violin and obbligato harpsichord, and then changes to a trio sonata, flute sonata, chamber concerto, and harpsichord concerto with Pogger's violin at the center, showing a variety of faces in each variation. The piece shows a variety of faces. The modern technique characteristic of the treatment of woodwinds in the 30th variation and the aria da capo is also accentuated, and the sound of the ancient instruments gives an exquisite effect, making the piece very fresh.This is a unique and outstanding work among the many famous "Golteberg" arrangements. The arranger, Kelly, is also active as a keyboardist and has played with Gardiner and Pinnock.
