Description:

Peter Fisher was born in 1956 in Martinez, California. Fisher, who spent his childhood in the San Francisco Bay Area looking out over the Santa Cruz Mountains, initially wanted to be a scientist. However, after discovering the songs of Elton John, Fischer became interested in popular music, and at the age of 16 he began studying piano, later learning to play guitar, and after joining a rock band, he decided to pursue a career in music. Fischer's works have an urban atmosphere with a hint of jazz and rock. The works on this album are also influenced by Stravinsky, Reboultas, and Bernstein, and are based on mambos, tangos, tarantellas, waltzes, and other dances, but with a modern twist for a lively finish.
