The second collection of the complete piano works by Argentine composer Bottiroli includes works with a nocturnal atmosphere. In addition to the nocturnes, the album includes variously titled pieces, as well as "Six Album Pages," dedicated to the pianist Banegas, who was also his pupil, and "Five Piano Responses," with poems by the composer himself. These works were inspired by the clear skies seen from Bottiroli's villa in Cordoba, Andalusia, Spain, and his thoughts have already flown beyond earthly romanticism and into the macrocosm. The poems are read by Joey Takei (Japanese name: Hogo Takei), a second-generation Japanese-American who was very active on "Star Trek" and other TV programs.
