A series of Schubert symphonies by Kevin John Edusei, who was appointed Chief Conductor of the Munich Symphony Orchestra in 2015." To new horizons!" is the motto of this album, which includes Schubert's 18-year-old work, Symphony No. 3, and his unfinished work, Symphony No. 7, which is mostly only a sketch. The "Symphony No. 3," in which Schubert broke away from the influence of Mozart and Haydn and began to establish his own personality, and the "Symphony No. 7," which was begun around 1821 but for some reason was never completed (this recording uses a supplemental edition by the British Schubert scholar Brian Newbold). In this recording, the British Schubert scholar Brian Newbold used his own version of the symphony. Naxos Japan
