This is an album of a suite for horn and oboe, and a concerto for violin and flute from a collection of scores of Telemann's works left in the Darmstadt library for the court orchestra of the Counts of Hessen-Darmstadt. In the suite, in which the flute virtuoso Kosenko devotes himself to conducting, the Madouf brothers play wonderful natural horns without the gestap technique. Kosenko's flute and Bulgarian baroque violinist Varova's playing is based on a gentle taste, while the ensemble's dynamic ideas are beautifully played in perfect unison.
