Description:
This is a collaborative album by "Le Conseil Spirituelle" led by Hervé Niquet, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2018, and the Old Royal Opera House of Versailles, which is also celebrating its 30th anniversary. The album is a new story of the unknown masterpieces of the French Baroque, recomposed by extracting recitatives (recitative in Italian) and arias (arias as in Italian). The synopsis is as follows. The Witch is in love with the Prince as well as the Princess, and the Prince has to go to war while the people are trying to decide which of the two he will take. The prince returns home victorious after a harrowing war music, and the witch becomes angry when he and the princess have a good relationship. In the third act, a storm is created by the witch's power, and the prince is swept away like the others. The witch, who regretted it bitterly, decided her fate by entering the water, while the princess survived and was reunited with the prince (who was still alive), and happily ever after..." The cover features Samantha, Darling, and Mama from the famous drama "The Wife is a Witch" of yesteryear.The playful binding is a playful tribute to the three people featured on this album.
