Includes Marufuku's version of Shokichi Kina's early masterpiece "Haisai Ojisan"! The representative Okinawa melody "Haisai Ojisan" and Deigo Musume's signature song "Toyonen Ondo" are reissued from the original MARUHUKU Records sound source. Haisai Ojisan" is a representative piece from Shokichi Kina's early days, said to have been created when he was 13 years old, and is familiar at Koshien as a melody that has remained representative of Okinawa to this day. Behind the humorous lyrics and melody, there was the harsh reality of Okinawa at the end of the war.The song is not the rock-oriented version recorded on the generally well-known 1977 Philips release, but the simple, primitive version released on Marufuku Records in Okinawa in 1972. The coupling song "Toyonen Ondo" by Deigo Musume, a representative family group that is one of the elements that make up Okinawan music, is also included on the original Maruhuku Records release.
