Description:
Fresneci's popular disc "Mercure" will be restocked! The long-discontinued product will be restocked with the same specifications and revised price. At the age of 8, he could only whisper. He composed more than 50 songs under the name "naphthalinesquall" when he was a student. After that, he changed his solo name to frenesi and released a mini-album "Landmark Theater" from bambini records. He also released an album "blueno" under the name "blueno" with Hammond organist Yosuke Kawai. The album was an unprecedented hit for an independent label. Since then, he has composed many "whispered but hard-edged" songs, and even handles a variety of arrangements himself. He performs live mainly in Tokyo, and has received many awards including the LiveBrain Award and the ONKYO Award at Musictree, a music website hosted by Ryuichi Sakamoto. In June 2009, he released his first full album "Cupra" under the name "Frenesi" from Otome Ongaku Kenkyusha, and produced all of the arrangements, jacket, and PV animation "Miraitantei Frenesi" by himself. In September 2010, he released his second album "MERUHEN", in September 2012 his third album "GENDAI", and in 2013 his fourth album "DORFINO". in April 2014, he joined the creator unit "xxxx", which consists of Shiho Namba, Dr.Usui (MOTOCOMPO, (M)otocompo), Mel Kishida, and Julie Watai They formed the creators' unit "xxx of WONDER" (of wonder). In February 2014, "Masked Investigator" was remixed by the American music unit Machine Girl, and since then the number of overseas fans has increased rapidly. On December 27, 2014, the group indefinitely suspended its live and sound production activities following the "Frenesi Gakuen Legendary Closing Ceremony" at the Shibuya Ward Bunka Sogo Center Owada Heritage Hall in Tokyo. In 2019, while on hiatus, she contributed a newly written song "Anakuro Shoujo" (lyrics and music) to SOLEIL's 3rd album "LOLLIPOP SIXTEEN" On July 7, 2020, she began streaming 4 albums released by Otome Music Research Inc. Around 2020, Fresnesei's work "Cupra" began to appear in the top rankings as a representative Japanese album on overseas music fan sites. It has also been described by core Japanese music fans as "the Bjork of Shibuya-style". After the start of streaming distribution in 2020, Fresneci's works became popular as background music with a cute atmosphere on various social networking sites. Especially on TIKTOK, more than 60,000 user videos with "Latency Girl" as background music have been published (as of 2025), and the song has gained wide popularity among the younger generation. In 2025, they released a new song "Don't Expel Me" for distribution, which has been a long time coming, and released a limited number of LP records of their first work "Cupra" in 2025.
