The album is a new album released in the late 80's, and was the first release on the Doomsday News (The New Generation of Heavy Metal) compilation album, which also featured Rage, Helloween, and others. The album was released in the late 80's and featured the likes of Rage and Helloween, and many metal fans must have been knocked out by the opening track, "Galactos. Their debut album "Hypertrace" (1988), which also featured guest appearances by Ralph Shepers, is a well-known German metal classic. Scanner is a band that emerged in the late 80's, but in fact, including its predecessors, it is a veteran band that started its activities in 1977. Although the band has broken up and reformed several times, they have released six albums to date.Now released is the long-awaited new album, the band's seventh in nine years. The album, titled "The Cosmic Race," is full of speedy and melodic power metal with a sci-fi theme that will capture the hearts of German metal lovers.
