The band has since gone on to work with Roadrunner and Nuclear Blast, two of the biggest bands in the industry. Lamb of God will release their first new album in two years.Vocalist Randy Bly stresses that the album, entitled "Omens," is "a response to the crazy state of the world" and "just an angry piece of work. The band played and recorded the album together, not in parts, at Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, which has been used by The Doors, Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, and others. Guitarist Mark Morton is confident, "If you listen to the songs, you can easily see that the band is in the best shape it has ever been in. Drummer Art Cruz, who joined the band on the last album, has stepped up his drumming game.
