Ken Kaneko, one of Japan's leading bassists, has released his first new album in two years. Ken's Trio Plus" is a new unit of future musicians who have gathered to share the vibrations of energy and create an album full of dynamism. Leader Ken Kaneko (bass), born in 1964, is a 36-year veteran of the band, while members Akimi Uogae (piano) was born in 1991, Jun Yamazaki (drums) and Rei Kaneko (sax) were born in 2001, and Koichi Hirata (guitar) was born in 2002. They are all the most remarkable young talents of the moment.The band is characterized by its leader, Ken Kaneko, who handles everything from song selection to arrangement, and his performance reveals him as a single bassist who makes the most of the energy they release. This thinking leads to the title of this album, "Insights Filed" (insights into the energy field). The album contains a total of 12 songs, 11 standards and one original. The songs are sung by a variety of formations, from trio to quintet, and each member's "beautiful sound" can be enjoyed in this gorgeous work.
