Featuring new keyboardist Jun Abe and marking the return to the band’s original name, “CASIOPEA,” this commemorative fifth-era kickoff live tour, “CASIOPEA・Summer Tour 2025 ~TRUEBLUE~,” captures the entire 20-song set from their electrifying performance at CLUBCITTA’ on September 11, 2025. Presented in a high-quality Blue Spec CD2 format. Since their striking record debut in 1979, CASIOPEA has continued to lead the fusion scene as one of Japan’s premier supergroups. Their sound, which literally embodies their debut catchphrase "Thrill, Speed, Super Technique," established a completely new musical style previously unthinkable—effortlessly combining accessible melodies born from Issei Noro’s exceptional compositional skills with virtuosic technical playing. This has led to the release of numerous classic songs such as "ASAYAKE" and "DOMINOLINE." The band has maintained its reputation despite lineup changes, spanning three distinct phases: the first phase from its formation in 1977 through 1989; the second phase from 1990 to 2006; and the third phase, which began in 2012—the band’s 35th anniversary—after a six-year hiatus, when they relaunched as CASIOPEA 3rd. From 2022 to 2024, the drumming duties were passed from Akira Jimbo to Yoshiyori Imai, marking the fourth phase as CASIOPEA-P4. In May 2025, Jun Abe joined as a new member, and to mark this occasion, the group reverted to its original name, CASIOPEA, for its fifth phase. Their debut live tour, “NEWMEMBER’s GIG 2025,” which took place at Billboard Live Osaka, Billboard Live Tokyo, and Billboard Live Yokohama, garnered significant attention not only from music fans but also from professional musicians. This release features the complete recording of all 20 songs from the thrilling final concert of the commemorative 5th-era kickoff summer tour, "CASIOPEA・Summer Tour 2025 ~TRUEBLUE~," held on September 11, 2025, at CLUB CITTA'. It is presented in a high-quality Blue Spec CD2 format.
