The Grand Brothers, a unique unit that has been refining their one-of-a-kind hybrid style at the intersection of modern classical and electronic music and has garnered a wide following across genres, have completed a new album in 2025! The Grand Brothers are a German-based duo unit consisting of pianist Erol Sarp and producer Lukas Vogel, who have been active since the early teens. They have gained popularity for their unique hybrid style that lightly crosses modern classical and electronic music with "piano" at its core. Elsewhere" is their fifth album, and their first release after starting their own label "and others. The first single, "We Collide," is a euphoric breakbeat number. This time, the band has departed from its previous production style of using a single grand piano to create all sounds, and has taken on a new challenge by incorporating analog synthesizers and drum machines in pursuit of rhythm and physicality. The album is a mix of the same beauty, delicacy, emotional touch, and attention to detail as before, with a physical vibrancy created using everything from four beats and breakbeats to slow cosmic grooves, creating a classical yet trancey new crossover sound. The band has succeeded in creating a new kind of crossover sound that is both classical and trancey. The result is an epoch-making work that heralds a new chapter in his career!
