Efficient Spaces" is a new release from the Australian label that has consistently produced quality compilations such as "Ghost Riders" and "Sky Girl". This time, the compilation features a selection of songs by Mikey Young, a treasured Melbourne artist who is well known for his work with Total Control and Green Child, among others. In addition to rare and coveted recordings by Bob Hughes (M(6)) and a solo by a member of Tree People (M(3)), both of which were reissued on Big Pink, there are also a number of amazing discoveries of independent and self-produced records by church and unknown amateur artists. The collection includes a wide variety of music. Folky, acoustic, mellow, relaxing, rustic, sepia-toned bedroom pop.
