This is the second album by GARDENWINDS, a unit of Naoto Yamamoto, former principal oboe player of the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra and currently active as principal guest player and soloist of the Aichi Chamber Orchestra, and Takahiro Iwase, a composer-pianist. All songs are original works by Iwase. This album features a guest appearance by cellist Shimpei Miyazaki, who forms the unit "EASTRINGS" with Iwase. The beautiful oboe and piano tones accompany the emotionally rich melodies played by GARDEN WINDS, who are expanding their fan base with their active performance activities. Please enjoy the beautiful melodies and familiar tunes that color your peaceful days. ＜Naoto Yamamoto (oboe) graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae at the top of his class in 1985. He has performed at the graduation concert of Musashino Academia Musicae and the 55th Yomiuri Newcomers Concert. He studied under Masaru Toyama, Gyozo Yoshinari, Akira Kitajima, and Ingo Goricki, and joined the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra in 1986, serving as principal until September 2019.In February 1992, he went to Berlin for a year to study with Andreas Wittmann, and after returning to Japan, he gave a solo recital. After returning to Japan, gave a solo recital. 1997 participated in the "9th Affinis Summer Music Festival" and studied with Washington Barrera. 1999 gave a recital of contemporary music titled "Naoto Yamamoto and Friends. 2000 gave a solo recital at "The Concert Hall Encore 2000". In 2002, he appeared on NHK-FM's "Masterpiece Recital. In 2010, he gave a solo recital in commemoration of the nationwide release of the Nagoya Double Reed Ensemble CD. He has performed with the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, Nagoya Pastorale Ensemble, The Strings Nagoya, Klingen Philharmoniker, Chamber Orchestra "Benten", Kitanagoya City Orchestra, and Di Musikanten Chamber Orchestra, performing works by Mozart, Cimarosa, Marcello, Albinoni, Bach, Yoon I Sang, R. Strauss, R. Strauss, and others. and concertos by R. Strauss and Masahiro Yamauchi. He is also active in chamber music as a principal member of "Nagoya Virtuosen," "Nagoya Double Reed Ensemble," "Trio de Branch," and others.Currently, he is a part-time lecturer at Nagoya College of Music and Ogaki Women's Junior College of Music, and principal guest performer with the Aichi Chamber Orchestra. ＜Takahiro Iwase (Composition & Piano) was born in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Graduated from Osaka University of Arts. He started his career as a composer for musicals performed by the musical studio "Aeras" while still in college, and later went on to compose for musicals such as "Little Princess Sailor" (Imagine), etc. Since 2008, he has worked as a piano arranger for published scores mainly by Shinko Music as an arranger for Craftone, In 2016, he started his solo career to establish his own musical style, releasing "PIANO Monologue" and three other albums.
