Description:

Saxophonist Binker Golding, a leader of the new generation of the British jazz scene, completes his second album! Binker Golding, who is also known as the saxophonist of Binker and Moses, has completed his second album, "Dream Like a Dogwood Wild Boy," which has fully established his position as a standard-bearer of the new generation of the British jazz scene. This February, he released his fourth album as Binker and Moses, which is still fresh in our minds, and this album shows a shift to a new sound that incorporates elements of blues, heartland rock, and Americana, while still being strongly rooted in the expressive techniques of jazz. Binker explains the background of the album. Binker himself explains the background of the album as follows: "I wanted to create a record that would be a reflection of my thoughts and feelings on a variety of subjects. I wanted to document my thoughts on a variety of subjects and where I am as a male in my mid-30s. I wanted to document my thoughts on a variety of subjects and where I am as a man in my mid-thirties, but I wanted to dedicate this film to anyone, regardless of gender or age, who has ever had to think about what it means to be human. The songs are about the positive and negative relationships I have had with my family, partner, and friends. The album also features collaborations with some of the most talented musicians in the scene. On "All out of fairy tales," Sarah Tandy, one of the most important female pianists in London's current jazz scene, and guitarist Billy Adamson on "Love me like a woman," both solo on electric and acoustic blues/country-influenced guitar lines. The two also perform solo guitar lines on "Love me like a woman" and "Love me like a woman". Other musicians on the album include London-based composer and jazz bassist Daniel Casimir and drummer Sam Jones. And Binker's own playing is more borderless, vast, and dynamic than ever. The album was mixed by Hugh Pajam, a Grammy-winning producer who has worked with Sting, David Bowie, Paul McCartney, and others.Binker Golding - tenor saxophoneBilly Adamson - guitarsSarah Tandy - pianoDaniel Casimir - double bassSam Jones - drums
