This series is based on the concept of depicting a year as a sound image using the operation of the solar system as a grand musical score, a concept that has never been used in musical expression before, and this time it is a memorial work that beautifully depicts the sense of time and space of the year 2020. The music compresses time and space so that a year can be contained on a single CD. The process of framing the calendar elements in seconds, following the movement of the planets, and bringing the contours of the universe into sonic relief was like a shamanic experience, as if reliving the future through music. This is the fourth collaboration with musician Hiromiki Okano, who worked on this series. Okano's collection of ethnic instruments is so diverse that it fills his studio, and he composed, performed, and designed the sound for the entire film. (C)RS
