The dense ensemble with Itamar Golan, who has been called the world's best acompanist, is also a masterpiece; the moment I heard the performance by Fumiaki Miura, a rising star who dashingly appeared in the 21st century, I was convinced that "the original devilish charm of the violin" had returned. Although his appearance still retains the innocence of a boy, once the performance began, his brazen and luminous sound, which is far from Japanese, his large scale performance design, and the intensity with which he approaches the inner work convinced all listeners of the fact that he is a rare talent. Golan's piano also responds to Miura's sound, deepening its mystique.
