Kiyomi Suga

Description:

Kiyomi Suga and Marie Nishiyama, a talented duo born from their joint performance of Bach's immortal masterpiece "Brandenburg Concerto". The two have been leading the world of ancient music and have performed in numerous ensembles. They will tackle Bach's four true flute sonatas. They will present a skillful ensemble that seems to be conversing with the composer's music in a respectful and surrendering manner and with an ancient and elegant sound. Suga's flauto traverso floats smoothly through the space, its rich tone overflowing with a pleasant charm. Nishiyama's harpsichord, sometimes elegant and sometimes gorgeous, is brilliant. In the unfinished "Sonata for Flute and Harpsichord in A major, BWV 1032 - Vivace", you can hear Suga's own supplementary writing guided by his vigorous harmonic progression. Specifications: Jewel case with commentary Born in Tokyo, Suga was educated in the United States and Maryland.
