Invention & Sinfonia : Hikari Fukuda(P)

Description:

Hikari Fukuda has been active as a researcher and writer, writing serial articles for music magazines. Following her previous work "Golteberg Variations" (KCD-2074), she will be working on "Inventions and Sinfonias". This recording also uses the "C. Bechstein Model D-282" and is tuned to the "unequal mean rule. The cover art is a motif of "ore" drawn by Sayana Matsuo, inspired by Fukuda's performance. Specifications: Jewel case specifications Includes track descriptions Cover art by Saina Matsuo [Hikari Fukuda] Born in Tsuyama City, Okayama Prefecture in 1967. Bach's keyboard works, and has held the "Bach Ticles" (5 recitals) from 2005-2009 and the "Sequential Bach Ticles" (4 recitals) from 2010-2014, which were well-received. In 2011, he performed at the 8th Tsuyama International Music Festival. In November 2021, he released "J.S. Bach: Goltberg Variations" on the OMF label, which received favorable reviews in various media and was selected as a semi-selected disc by "Record Geijutsu" (Recorded Arts). She also focuses on teaching younger students, and her Bach seminars for teachers, such as the Pitina Piano Seminar and Musica Nova Online School, are well received, based on the concept that "Baroque music, which tends to have an image of being "difficult," should be played in a friendly and enjoyable way.In recent years, he has also been engaged in research on tuning and ancient musical instruments, and actively promotes the awareness of ancient musical instruments through the "Classical Tuning Series" launched in 2014, as well as lecture concerts and workshops that explore the connection between modern piano and ancient musical instruments. He is also a regular contributor to "Musica Nova" with his popular "Bach Invention Lesson" series. She is a regular member of the All Japan Piano Teachers Association (Pitina). Naxos Japan
