Of course, there are only a few pieces, but all of them are packed with contents, making it a perfect partner. A new success story is about to begin. We begin with Symphony No. 1, completed in 1895. The premiere of this work is known to have been a disaster (Rachmaninoff suffered a great psychological blow from this failure), and it is said that one of the reasons for its failure was the bad performance by Glazunov, who conducted the premiere.
