DJ Mitsu the Beats (Jazzy Sport /GAGLE), Dego (2000black) and Yukari BB (Jazzy Sport) will release "JAMES MASON REMIXES", a limited release from Jazzy Sport Productions. The RMXs of "JAMES MASON REMIXES" is an analog EP released exclusively through Jazzy Sport Productions, featuring songs from Roy Ayers' "Rhythm of Life" album, a classic album released in 1977 as his only leader and a shining masterpiece in rare groove history. James Mason is a living legend who continues to collect props that transcend the boundaries of time and genre with the existence of "Rhythm of Life". Three artists have breathed new life into the songs on the masterpiece "Rhythm of Life" to recreate them on the remix EP "JAMES MASON REMIXES," released as an analog-only limited edition product. Free" is a percussive and driving floor classic that is popular not only from the jazz and rare groove side, but also from the loft and deep house side, as well as from the hip-hop side with its cover by Attica Blues from Mo' Wax in 1997. Dego's "Free - 2000black Remix" brings back the vibrancy of the original song with a jazzy 2000black sound/groove. Good Thing - Yukari BB Remix" is a heartwarming mellow soul classic "Good Thing" reworked by Yukari BB, who is also a close friend of Dego, with a groovy hip-hop beat and pleasant synth bass, amplifying its mellow appeal. Remix". On Side-B, DJ Mitsu the Beats, who has been releasing great works in 2025, including collaborations with numerous artists, RMX work, and the release of the GAGLE album, reworked the classic "Free" in a percussive and groovy original world with warm electric piano.
