Stereo live recording with the WDR Symphony Orchestra of Cologne* ~Liner Notes~ Beethoven: Symphony No. 6 "Rural" and Overture to "Coriolan" "Rural" were recorded in studio with the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra by Kilebert. The performances were well received. The recording of this performance, however, is in a much better state than that. Of course, the virtuosity of the Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra is superior to that of the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra. The intensity after the "Storm" is also tremendous. Kiehlbert is not a genius of Atterlund like Furtwängler. ○The studio recording of Brahms: Symphony No. 1 with the Berlin Philharmonic was unfortunately a monaural recording. The live recording with the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Cologne on this disc is still highly functional with the orchestra. The third and fourth movements are played in attacca. The communication between the conductor and the orchestra must have been very good. The torrent-like finale is overwhelming with its muscular form. Mahler: Symphony No. 4 Solo: Agnes Giebel This was the first performance of this work in Kyle Bert's repertoire.Although it may seem that Kjirbert and Mahler have a tenuous connection, this is by no means the case. During the 1960 Vienna Art Week, which celebrated the 100th anniversary of Mahler's birth, he performed No. 8, "Symphony of a Thousand," with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. In addition, broadcast recordings of No. 1 and "Song of the Earth" are also available on CD. The tone is light and bright, unlike the usually grave Kiehlbeckt. In the third movement, he sings so sweetly that one is smothered in emotional cotton for 18 minutes. The sound quality is very good, and this is a representative recording of "Mahler by Kylbert. Dvorak: Symphony No. 9 "The New World", Mozart: Symphony No. 33 "The New World", which Kilebert conducted as his favorite symphony. His studio recording with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra is also a famous performance. His performance shows us that Dvořák is a compositional composer, right up there with Brahms. Mozart's Symphony No. 33 is performed in a style that is completely unheard of today. Kilebert thoroughly and rigorously chops the rhythms, making Mozart sound like Beethoven. This stubbornness, too, is one of the charms of Kilebert.
