The young virtuosos Ayana Tsuji and Tomoki Sakata won first prize at two international competitions (the International Competition of Montreal and the International Franz Liszt Competition) in 2016, Since 2020, they have been performing as a duo throughout Japan, giving audiences the opportunity to hear their highly expressive and fresh duo performances. The music produced by these two rapidly deepening musicians has been greeted with enthusiastic praise from all quarters. Tsuji, who spins free and imaginative music, and Sakata, who has also emerged as a composer and arranger, have both demonstrated their one-of-a-kind musicality at a young age. The subtitle of the recording is "Songs of the Rain. The two talented musicians sing freshly the first sonata, subtitled "Song of Rain," the romantic and lovely brightness of the second sonata, and the melancholy intensity of the third sonata.
