The long-awaited compilation of the definitive city pop albums from the 1990s is now available in analog format! The city pop boom has entered a new phase! This is the second volume following "CITY POP STORY - Urban & Ocean", which was released in 2023, sold well as the "ultimate city pop classic compilation album" and continues to be a long seller. As before, the book "The Basics of City Pop" was also released, as well as "The Basics of 90's J-Pop" and "The Basics of 90's J-Pop". The Basics of 90s J-Pop" and "The Basics of 90s J-Pop" (both published by Seikaisha Shinsha Shinshu). (Seikaisha Shinsho), is in charge of planning, song selection, and commentary. The music selection focuses on stylish city pop music of the 90s, which was adjacent to the movements of the time such as Shibuya-kei and girl pop. The album is divided into two sets: a "Girls Side" featuring female vocals and a "Boys Side" featuring male vocals. The cover illustration is by gata, who also created the cover illustration for the album. The cover illustration is by gata, the same artist who created the cover illustration for "The Basics of 90's J-Pop".
