Description:
Taeko Onuki Concert 2022" was held on December 3, 2022 at Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Auditorium. The seven-member band consisted of Hirokazu Ogura (guitar), Masato Suzuki (bass), Hisashi Numazawa (drums), Tatsuo Hayashi (drums), Fabien Reza Panet (piano), Toshiyuki Mori (keyboard), and Shohei Amimori (keyboard), who arranges Onuki's recent songs. The special feature of this concert was that in addition to the seven members, tracks from past multi-tapes were also used. This allowed the audience to enjoy songs that had been omitted or re-arranged because they were too difficult to express with a live band alone, but were delivered to the audience in their original attractive proportions. The band also performed songs released in the 1970s, which could be described as Taeko Onuki's city pop iconic songs that have been highly acclaimed in recent years, especially overseas.From their most popular songs such as "Profile," "Color City," and "Urban" to their latest work "Morning Palette," the performance was full of vibrancy and groove, and the audience was intoxicated by this impressive concert.
