Tony Decker of the Great Lakes Swimmers, another award-winning Canadian indie folk band, co-produced the album. The album features 10 exquisite love songs with intricately layered harmonies and enchanting duets. Recorded in the 200 year old St. Mark's Church with a unique sound! Abigail Lapel hails from Toronto, Ontario, where she began her musical career in the 2000s, first performing as the opening act for local hero band Lowest of the Low. His 2016 single "Jordan" won the Colleen Peterson Songwriting Award.Their second album, 2017's "Hide Nor Hair," which includes this song, also won Contemporary Album of the Year at the 13th Canadian Folk Music Awards. Also in 2016, he co-wrote and released the Christmas song "Ner Li" with Laura Spink. Subsequently, their third album "Getaway" in 2019 and "Stolen Time" in 2022 were also highly acclaimed and both won the Canadian Folk Music Award for English Songwriter of the Year.
