The Record Company's fourth album, aptly named "4th Album," is the band's fourth album after starting completely from scratch following the cancellation of their tour due to the Corona disaster and their dismissal from the label! The band returns to the roots of their 2016 debut "Give It Back to You", which was nominated for a Grammy, and delivers a rough but precise three-piece blues and punk rock! Thick-boned blues rock reminiscent of the Black Keys, White Stripes, and even old John Spencer! The Record Company is a rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2011. The band members are Chris Voss (guitar, lead vocals), Alex Stiff (bass, backing vocals), and Mark Cazorla (drums, backing vocals). 2016 marked their debut with "Give It Back to You" on Concord. The band's intense rock mix of blues and punk was well received by the media, and the lead single, "Off The Ground," debuted at #1 on the Billboard Adult Alternative Songs chart. The album was also a long-running hit and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album.They continued to release their second album "All of This Life" in 2018, an EP of cover songs "Side Project" in 2021, and a third album "Play Loud" in rapid succession. The songs were written and recorded in Corona Excess, with ample time for recording.
