Description:
The latest film from Takashi Shimizu, director of "Ju-On" and "Inunaki Village," "Kikaijima" creates unprecedented terror between the real and virtual worlds. The latest work by Takashi Shimizu, the master of Japanese horror, director of the blockbuster "Ju-On" series as well as "Inunakimura," "Jukai-mura," and "Ushikubumura" series, "Kikaijima" is set on an "island" where an ancient grudge lies, and combines the chemical element of "VR" to depict fear in two worlds: "real" and "virtual. It depicts the horror in two worlds, "real" and "virtual". The music is composed by Kosuke Yamashita, who has worked on many of Nobuhiko Obayashi's films, including "Umibe no Eiga-kan: Kinema no Tamatebako", "Hanagatami", and "Tengakusei: Sayonara Kimi". The realistic sounds of strings and shamisen, tense synth sounds, and beautiful yet sad melodies and choruses stir up fear. This time, "Imajonu Uta" sung by island resident Shigeru Niinou, played by Takashi Sasano, and Rin Kaneshiro, played by Ami Toma, a junior high school girl on the island, who leave a lasting impression in the film, is specially recorded on CD only!
