The first installment of "Vant's Immortal Masterpieces" is a collection of Vant's most important repertoire, Schubert, Bruckner, and two unfinished symphonies, which cannot be missed! The Profil label has licensed the recording to Altus, and has remastered it for this hybrid release. The live performance of Schubert and Bruckner, two unfinished symphonies performed in one day in 1993, is recorded live in its entirety. Both symphonies are Vant's specialty. In the "Unfinished", the terrible bass draws the listener into the music at once, and the beautiful balance of the instruments in the second movement is also Vant's sole domain. The live recording with the Deutsches Symphonieorchester Berlin, which he played as a guest conductor from the 1980s to the early 1990s, shows Vant's interpretation in a particularly vivid way. The essence of Vant's interpretation of the music is one of the most important aspects of the music.
