Description:
This is the second album by Akira Nakamura's "Tokyo" themed band, Trickstwart Band, which has worked as a drummer for artists such as Hiromi Uehara, Sam Kininger, David Fiuczynski, and others. The new Jam Band sound is recorded with members active in Japan from Jazz to Pop, including Motoharu (ex.Soil&Pimp Session) and Fasun. The second album, "Kai" (櫂), is based on the theme of "communication. The album includes "7/23/08 19:20~7/24/08 Morning," a song about the determination to confront the environment in which you were born, "Home to You," a song about identity co-written with singer Fasun, and "75 Burger," a song about a hamburger store you visit one day. The members of the band are soprano and tenor saxophone singers. The band consists of Motoharu on soprano and tenor sax, Hironori Ura on alto sax, Tetsuro Shibayama on guitar, Yoshiteru Takahashi on bass, Fasun on vocals and acoustic guitar, and Ryo Nakamura on drums. Analog recordings, mainly live recordings.
