A five-piece group led by guitarist Lee Baker, who has been active in the Memphis/Ardent Studios area since the mid-1960s and is also known for his work with Alex Chilton - Big Star Connection. With Don Nix, one of the architects of the Memphis sound, as producer, this is their only album for Stax-owned Enterprise. With Baker's scorching guitar work at its core, the swamp sound of heavy Hammond organ and solid rhythm section is a perfect example of Stax meets white rock, on par with Delaney & Bonnie. (C)RS
