German musician Tobias Wilden releases the sequel to his 2013 work "A Path to Open Air". A serene and beautiful sound world that pushes the limits of acoustic guitar music by incorporating strings and sanshin, as well as layers of guitar. German musician Tobias Wilden will release "A Path to Open Air II" on Singapore's KITCHEN. LABEL, a sequel to his 2013 Bandcamp album "A Path to Open Air". The album continues the introspective journey depicted in the previous album, while delving deeper into Wilden's conception of nature and music. Through meticulously crafted and delicate compositions, Wilden conveys a deep connection to his environment, expressing his yearning for the serenity found in remote places and the faraway urban atmosphere through compelling acoustic soundscapes.Inspired by nature and landscape, his pastoral ambient instrumentals gently unfold in impressionistic sound sketches, with a sound palette based on guitar and incorporating cello, double bass, and even the traditional Japanese instrument, the sanshin. He also pushes the limits of acoustic guitar music on this album, pursuing a mellow sound with layers of guitar rather than relying on alternate tunings, and his craftsmanship is evident in every song. As the album unfolds, he draws the listener into the serene and beautiful world of sound that lurks beneath the surface through his delicate expression of tone and texture. Mastering was done by Gen Tanabe (Studio Camel House).
