Moonlight Sorcery, a three-piece melodic death/black metal band from Tampere, Finland, has finally completed its first album, releasing the EP "Piercing Through the Frozen Eternity" digitally on bandcamp in February 2022. The band is from Finland, the world's leading metal country, which also produced Sonata Arktika, one of the leading bands on the AVALON label. The band's musicality is based on melodic death metal with a focus on ethereal keyboards reminiscent of Finnish bands such as Children of Bodom, while featuring the fast playing and stylistic beauty of the neo-classical metal elements of guitar heroes such as Alexi Laiho. The band has been in negotiations with labels and bands for the last year. Last year, after negotiations with labels and bands, they recorded four new songs on an EP and released it as an edited version only in Japan. And now they are ready to release their first album "Horned Road of the Thorndike Castle".The album was produced by Dan Swano, a member of Edge of Sanity, one of the most famous bands of the early days of melodic death metal, and also a charismatic producer. An avalanche of beautiful melodies and crying melodies with the utmost aesthetic appeal! The Japanese version bonus track is a cover of Deep Purple's "Purple Flame (Burn)," which is included on the band's EP released on LP this year.
