The latest album by U.D.O., led by German metal heavyweight Udo Dirkschneider, is their first in two years. In addition to the current members of U.D.O., Stefan Kaufmann and Peter Baltes, formerly of Accept, join the band. Although this is the band's latest studio album with all new songs, it has a different aspect from their previous studio albums. The reason for this is the bold introduction of orchestration. This is because it is a concept album with the full participation of German military instrumentalists. The title of the album, "We Are One," expresses Udo's concern about the current global crisis and his desire to use music to encourage all mankind to come together as one to confront the situation.
