London rapper CLBRKS!!! released his new album "CLBELLIC" in partnership with Finnish producer NickyDiesel on Rhythm Section! London-based rapper CLBRKS (aka Conrad Brooks) is releasing his new album "CLBELLIC" on Bradley Zero's upcoming Rhythm Section label. CLBELLIC is the result of CLBRKS teaming up with Finnish producer NickyDiesel to create 11 tracks. The album, which depicts eerie night scenes and various acts of evil, is a perfect match for Nicky's rough, neck-breaking production and Conrad's quirky and often funny lyrics, and CLBRKS says of the album's inspiration. "Of course, the main inspiration for this project was my favorite GTA IV character in the series, Nikolai.I think it has something to do with the fact that Nikki's full name is Nikolai, and at the time I used to play Max Payne, another game produced by Rockstar. It was also a collaboration with Finnish developer Remedy Entertainment. I think the fact that Nikki is half Russian also contributed to the inspiration in a weird way." I think that's why the locations we shot in were so perfect for the theme and for the dark, eerie atmosphere that the original video game exudes." Full of sharp wordplay and vaguely jazzy beats, this record is the perfect soundtrack to side missions all summer long!
