Pianist Gregory Privat, born in Martinique, France, and the son of pianist José Privat, known for his participation in the Caribbean group Maravois, was awarded the prestigious Django Reinhardt Prize (French Musician of the Year) by the French Jazz Academy in March 2024. Following the release of the album "Soray" in 2020, double bassist Chris Jennings and drummer Tilo Bertolo have teamed up again to create an urban psychedelic album that is a celebration of the cycle of life and the constant rebirth from the ashes. team up again for an out-of-this-world trio work that moves between urban pop, creole songs, and electronic music into spiritual jazz!
