T-Connection, a four-piece band led by the Coakley brothers, debuted in Miami from Nassau, Bahamas in the late 70's during the sensitive funk/disco period. The band's debut album, released in 1977, already had a funky and mellow sound, from the 12-inch floor hit "Disco Magic" to the free-form favorite "Monday Morning".
