The concept of this compilation is "Cocktail Disco," featuring 22 (!!!) tracks of disco and boogie selected from Dimitri's vast disco collection. The album contains 22 (!!!) disco and boogie tracks selected from Dimitri's vast disco collection on two CDs. So, what is cocktail disco? According to Mr. Dimitri, a world authority on disco, it is a disco with a tropical and Latin flavor like Kid Creole & The Coconuts, which makes people in their 40's weep, and a sexy and glamorous Fujiko Mine, which has a sexy and glamorous Fujiko Mine-like sex appeal. It is said to be a disco with adult appeal. The tempo is a little slower than other discos, making it perfect for mature couples to dance leisurely with a cocktail in hand. Needless to say, we do not include any discos that are easily accessible.All of the tracks are extremely rare and sought after by collectors all over the world. This is one of the many disco compilations/mixes that Dimitri has produced, and it was considered a "masterpiece" by disco enthusiasts and DJs alike because of its "perfect concept".
