For the third year in a row, Los Angeles superstar Lewis Cole has released his latest album on Brainfeeder, "nothing," a collaboration with the Metropole Orchestra, one of the world's leading pop and jazz orchestras. Lewis Cole, who has received rave reviews from the likes of Letchli, Thundercat, Quincy Jones, Flying Lotus, and others, quickly came to prominence with the release of "Time" on in 2018. Not only is he a super-tight super-drummer, but his DIY spirit, which allows him to manipulate multiple instruments, record and film at home, and complete mixing and video editing on his own, has earned him worldwide acclaim.From 2022's "Quality Over Opinion," "Let It Happen" was nominated for the 65th Grammy Award, and the following year the album was also nominated for the 66th Grammy Award. Founded in 1945, the orchestra has performed with such legends as Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, Elvis Costello, and Ivan Lins. In recent years, under the direction of principal conductor Jules Buckley, he has won Grammy Awards for his work with Snarky Puppy and Jacob Collier.
