ART-SCHOOL releases mini-album "1985" on its 25th anniversary. ART-SCHOOL will release its latest mini-album "1985". ART-SCHOOL, formed in March 2000, will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. The production of this album was started based on Riki Kinoshita's idea of what would happen if a work like "SWAN SONG" was created with today's sensibilities. The songs were recorded with Junya Iwata of Triple Time Studio, who was in charge of many of ART-SCHOOL's early recordings, for the first time in many years. The result is a work that is different from "SWAN SONG," but it is a pale, innocent, and full of vitality, filled with the present that they have accumulated and the ART-SCHOOL style that they have always maintained. In addition, the song "Outsider," which was only available on cassette tape when the band was first formed in 2000, has been newly recorded. The beginning and the present intersect, and the early ART-SCHOOL and the present ART-SCHOOL seem to coexist on this album. Riki Kinoshita writes in the self-liner notes, "I was filled with a sense of sadness, but for some reason I am sad. wrote the artist in the self-liner notes. I believe that music that can be enjoyed by any listener is what ART-SCHOOL is all about. On the 25th anniversary of ART-SCHOOL, I hope you will reach out for this commemorative mini-album, which is the full expression of ART-SCHOOL's character.
