Margarita Heyender is a female pianist who has performed with a distinguished lineup of conductors, including Abbado, Maazel, and Levine, and recently with Kirill Petrenko, and has been remarkably active in Germany and elsewhere. She performs regularly with the Staatskapelle Dresden, and this album also features three modern and contemporary piano sextets performed with the Staatskapelle Dresden's renowned wind players. The unusual repertoire of Twilles, as well as the light-hearted and stylish Poulenc and Francais are in good taste.
