The Mahler Symphony Cycle has steadily built up a solid reputation, including being frequently named "Editor's Choice" by Gramophone magazine and winning the "Orchestra Prize" at the 2019 BBC Music Magazine Awards for "Symphony No. 1". Finally, the tenth and final volume of the series, Symphony No. 6 "Tragic," is now available! Shortly after, the first lockdown due to the Corona pandemic began, which subsequently ruined the lives of many musical colleagues.Adam Fischer himself reflected on this impressive performance, saying, "From now on, when I think of Mahler's Sixth Symphony, I can't help but think of the pandemic and the last concert.
