An album full of love for the motherland, presented by a Chilean pianist! A collection of Chilean works by Chilean pianists. The album includes works by Santiago Heitz, a composer who devoted himself to the preservation and transmission of Chilean folk music; Federico Guzman, also active in Paris and known as the "Chopin of Chile;" and Wilhelm Deichelt, a German composer who visited Chile as a boy in the 1830s and was fascinated by the country, leaving behind works incorporating Chilean folk music and other elements. Wilhelm Deichelt, a German composer who was fascinated by Chile when he visited the country in the 1830s as a young boy. Each composer has created a unique and fascinating fusion of European musical styles and traditional Chilean elements. Hugo Janos Campos was born in 1994 in Rancagua, Chile, and began playing the piano at age 7. After studying with Victoria Foust at the Conservatory of the Universidad Mayor in the capital city of Santiago, his passion for Beethoven's music and his strong desire to immerse himself in European musical culture led him to Vienna to study.He has already won prizes at numerous international competitions, including the Claudio Arau International Piano Competition in his home country, the Delia Steinberg International Piano Competition (Madrid, Spain), and the Bechstein Bruckner Piano Competition (Linz, Austria). He has also appeared at the "Musica Mundi" International Chamber Music Festival in Belgium, attracting widespread attention, and is steadily climbing the stairs to become the first Chilean maestro since Claudio Arrau.
