Ensemble Minui—a “nonet” consisting of “5 string players + 4 wind players,” primarily active with the Carinthian Symphony Orchestra at the Klagenfurt City Theater in Austria—invites you into the world of chamber opera, delighting audiences with its crystal-clear sound and exquisite unity! Formed in 2016 primarily by members of the Carinthian Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Minui—a nonet—not only performs standard repertoire such as Beethoven’s “Nonet, Op. 20” and Schubert’s “Octet, D. 803,” but also actively adapts large-scale operas for smaller ensembles, playing a vital role in offering opera enthusiasts fresh perspectives and welcoming new audiences into the world of opera. These suite versions of *Der Rosenkavalier*, *Tosca*, and *Rusalka* were arranged by the ensemble’s clarinetist, Stefan Potzmann.
