Christiane Arben explores this vast suite down to the smallest detail, revealing its tonal complexity. born in Leipzig in 1959, Christiane Arben grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a solo cellist and his mother a piano teacher, and they often practiced together at home, exposing him to a wide range of musical literature from an early age. 8 years old, he began cello lessons and later piano lessons, and Arben showed great talent, winning first prize at the 1975 Bach Competition for Students and Youth in Leipzig He won first prize at the Bach Competition for Students and Youth in Leipzig in 1975.From this time on, he played music with his parents and siblings (flute and violin) on the evenings of the "Stunde der Musik" concert series throughout East Germany. Arben then began his formal education, first in Berlin with Bernhard Günther and Josef Schweppe, then in Leipzig with his father Friedemann Arben, where he received his degree, and in 1989 became a member of the Gewandhaus Orchestra.
