The October Cherries, an important Singapore/Malaysian band from the late 1960s, went from Singapore to Belgium to Abbey Road, changing their name many times to Truck, Col Truck, Jade & Pepper, and later to the astonishment of many pop lovers He played beatish pop psychedelic music. The album "Surprise!", released in Singapore/Malaysia in 1974 when the band called itself "Tracks", is a rearrangement of songs from the October Cherries' album "Dreamseller", which was released in the 60s. It sounds like a combination of influences from British psychedelia and early 70's rock/pop production,The catchy Beatles- and Badfinger-influenced songs with English vocals, lush arrangements, fuzz & wah-wah guitars, electric piano, and analog synths/moogs give the album a wonderfully unique atmosphere. The album has a wonderful and unique atmosphere. Remastered, with liner notes and photo insert. (From the manufacturer's information)
