The reissues have continued as a memorial to Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away at the age of 76 on July 22, 17 days after Black Sabbath's last live show, "Back to the Beginning". This is a 2-CD deluxe edition of the third album with bonus tracks! This is the third album released seven months after the band released the masterpiece album in January 1971, which is a must-listen for rock fans and completed the prototype of heavy metal. Not only heavier than their contemporaries Deep Purple and Vanila Fudge, the band proved to be experimental and controversial, taking on the darker side and drugs that other bands had left untouched. 20 years later, the grunge generation (Nirvana, Soundgarden and Smashing Pumpkins), including 'Children of the Grave' and 'After Forever. Produced by Rodger Bain, the album reached #5 on the UK Albums Chart and #8 on the US Billboard Chart. It reached the Top 10 in the U.K. and the U.S.In the U.S., it shipped over 500,000 copies, won a gold disc, and eventually sold over 2 million copies!
